What this is
ChaseSlabs is a personal collection tracker run by one person. The public pack ledger is a record of my own purchases. There are no user accounts and no sign-up.
If you give me your email
The form on the ledger stores one thing: the address you type, and the optional note beside it. That is used to gauge whether it is worth building a version other people could use.
Nothing is sent to it. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, and no third-party marketing tool holding it. It is a row in my database. It is never sold, shared, or passed to anyone.
If you sign in
Sign-in uses Google and is restricted to a single pre-authorised address - there is no way to create an account. If you sign in, the session cookie holds your email address and nothing else. No profile, no contacts, no Google data beyond confirming who you are.
Analytics and tracking
None. No analytics script, no advertising pixels, no third-party cookies. The only cookie this site sets is the sign-in session, and only after you sign in.
The browser extension
The ChaseSlabs price checker reads a page only when you click its toolbar icon. Nothing runs on any page until then, and it has no standing access to your browsing.
What it reads is the product name and price shown on that page. Those two things are sent to your own ChaseSlabs instance to be compared against your watchlist, and nowhere else. No history, no page contents, no identifiers.
What it stores is the address of your instance and your access token, held in your own browser's local storage. Neither leaves your machine except as the token that authenticates your own request. The extension collects nothing about you and sends nothing to me.
Where it lives
The site runs on Vercel and the database is Neon, both in the United States. Those providers see the ordinary technical logs any host keeps.
Removing your email
Email sam.w.simpson@gmail.com and it will be deleted. No verification hoops - if you can name the address, it goes.
